This lovely Picual truly does make others seem pale and envious by comparison. While it too is hot off the press and available now, it’s a bit sweeter than the Hojiblanca, with floral, fruity, creamy notes in the center accompanied by green fruit herbaceous notes on the finish. This is no shrew that needs taming as it’s finely balanced making it congenial to a wide array of palates.
