Thank you to customer Hope Crtez in Westerville, Ohio for creating this recipe out of our Black Widow Berry wine! We hope you enjoy it too!
Ingredients for base:
- One 750ml bottle Black Widow Berry Wine
- One tablespoon cocoa powder ( I use Hershey)
- Two tablespoons flour
- One cup white sugar
Combine these ingredients and bring to a boil, then simmer for about 45 minutes. Place in a cake pan and refrigerate overnight. Overnight cooling allows the base to have the consistency of pudding. (Thats a good thing!)
Ingredients for Ice cream:
- One 12 oz. Can of evaporated milk
- One pint of heavy whipping cream
Combine these two ingredients in the ice cream maker for 1-2 minutes, then gently add base to maker. Allow to spin in maker for at least 30 minutes or until thick enough to spoon.
Then enjoy!!
