Burt, NY – Black Willow Winery is pleased to announce another Gold medal has been bestowed upon their Classic Diamond white wine. This most recent award was granted during the International East Meets West Wine Challenge held in Sonoma County, California on February 16th-17th, 2016.
In addition to Classic Diamond’s Gold medal, Black Widow Berry received Silver, Cabernet Franc and Valkyrie’s Lure received Bronze. The International East Meets West Wine Challenge is a merger of the Vineyard & Winery Management’s oldest and most established wine competitions previously known as the West Coast Wine Competition and The International Eastern Wine Competition. Event judging panels are comprised of qualified members of wine media, wine/vineyard research, winemaking, wine education and wine marketing. Awards are granted by consensus.
Black Willow Winery has already won a number of medals in 2016 including a Best In Class Award for Classic Diamond in the 2016 San Francisco Chronicle’s Wine Competition.
