Burt, NY – Black Willow Winery, a Niagara Wine Trail Member, assisted the non-profit animal rescue agency, Save-A-Pet, with their “Music Under the Stars” fundraiser. The event included live music, dinner and a raffle.
On August 23rd at 6:30 PM, “Music Under the Stars” was held at Black Willow Winery and featured their selection of artisanal wines and mead paired with J & L Blvd. BBQ, and music by Busted Stuff. All proceeds of the ticket sales from the event were donated to Save-A-Pet. Cynthia West-Chamberlain, owner of Black Willow Winery, presented a check worth $500 to Save-A-Pet from these proceeds, which will be used to help homeless/unwanted dogs and cats in the Olcott/Newfane, NY area. Additional funds were raised for Save-A-Pet during the event from the purchase of gift items sold by the organization, a basket and 50/50 raffle and direct donations. All together, almost $900 was raised for Save-A-Pet during the event.
